Lila’s room August 11, 2011

Here are a few pics of Lila’s bedroom. Because she has full-length mirrors, I decided to set up an area for play/therapy. We really like the setup and she does, too. I looked high and low for foam tiles to put on the floor. There are a lot of cute ones out there with letters that pop out, by Lila’s PT warned against those. She said they don’t hold up well. I ended up finding black tiles in the fitness section at Target and so far, I am happy. They are easy to clean. Setting up Lila’s room has been one of the most rewarding and happy times for me. She doesn’t know the difference, but it fills my soul to be able to create for her what I envisioned during my pregnancy.

    this is aborable Aimee! You did a great job incorporating everything! I especially love the way the light is projected into a “heart shape” near her crib. Thanks for sharing…..

    Looks great Aimee! Beautiful color choices and use of the mirrors as a usable tool in the space. Lila’s pretty stinkin’ cute too! 😉

    This post just had me in complete tears. Her room is beautiful and she doesn’t even know how lucky she is to have such a great mommy!! You have given that beautiful little girl every chance/ every advantage since the day she was conceived. What a lucky little girl she is and what a lucky mommy you are =)

    xoxxo to both of you,
    Jess =)
